This is basically the same as my other thread but about a different build so didn't feel I'd add it to the other thread as this new thread may attract the attention of people who know specifically about what I'm talking about here. Anyway:

Here is the build I'm talking about - http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:E/...Purpose_Farmer (it's the first build about the mountain trolls, not the one below which is for the hydras).

Seeing as this build specifically deals with the mountain trolls who are melee only, I was wondering if anybody knew anywhere else I could use it which provided better drops. I mean, I've been using this build solo now against the mountain trolls for around 3-4 days and haven't even made back the cash I used on setting up the build (spells, runes etc). The drops seem to be around 80% mountain troll tusks, 10% cash (around 100gp) & 10% cr*ppy white items such as common shields etc.

It just doesn't seem worth my time trying to farm the mountain trolls as the drops are so bad there. I'm looking for somewhere I can use this build but get better drops. I mean they don't have to be a hell of a lot better, just an improvement from what I'm seeing with the trolls.

Anyway, I'd really appreciate some kind of input from you guys. Thanks a lot in advance.

you can try farming the minotaurs in HM outside of Ice Tooth

Farming in Droks is non existant, even in HM. It's overfarmed due to that is where people usually try to get powerleveled. Like the above post said the Mino's outside of Ice Tooth Caves, if you fight your way to the right, you'll come to the area where 12 of them spawn right next to a zone. You can just go back and forth, to see if its worth farming at all. I think Elona Reach is the desert mission with Mino's too.

The thing is, although that's ok for me (I'm gonna farm there from now on thanks), my friend can't farm there as he doesn't have HM yet so the minotaurs are only lvl 10 for him.

Is there anywhere he can farm lvl 20+ enemies in normal mode with this build?

The build that you gave, is in my oppionion crap. I would suggest you to use this: http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:E/Me_Mist_Form_Farmer - this is a good way to remain immortality against Melee/Paragons/Rangers and also deals a good amount of output damage. I'd suggest you to use this against foes such as Kirins, possibly Wardens outside Altrumm Ruins (watch out for KD). Note that this is a few spots that is possible. Since Mist Form will make you "immortal" vs melee/rangers/paragons, there is no limit for the damage that the foes acctualy deal. I have been experimenting with Mist Form to work in UW (aatxes, graspings, smite crawlers), without any solo success. (I took aatxes as an example since they deal 200dmg+ vs spellcasters such as elementalists)

The only thing is, my friend only has Prophecies lol

Obviously that doesn't matter about the build you provided as he just changes teinai's heat for searing heat and bed of coals for something else, but he can't farm kirins with it.

I watched a video aswell showing that build and it only showed that person farming in the troll cave & the minotaurs in Elona Reach, of which the minotaurs I was told was crap to farm.

I'm just thinking, Tyria is so big, but it seems the only places people farm are mainly the troll cave, tombs, UW, FoW or minotaurs in Elona. Surely there's a better place that actually gives decent drops as opposed to just troll tusks or minotaur horns etc.

HM makes pretty much anything good to farm. For merch food at least
